A considerable amount of gold has been recovered from placer and lode deposits in Idaho. Idaho gold was first discovered on a sandbar in the Pend Oreille River in 1852. In 1860, Captain E. D. Pierce found gold near the town of Pierce in Clearwater County. Other rich placer deposits soon were being mined in the nearby areas. Placer were the major source of gold prior to 1900. Idaho is a dredgers paradise. The communist (Democrats) haven’t got there liberal asses in there yet, but believe me, soon they will have it in there sights. Idaho is a beautiful state and that is surprising considering the environmental Nazis think that the only way something can look nice, is if they got some stupid endangered species in there to flaunt (and raise money for there communistic motives). It is my estimate that over 10,000,000 ounces of gold has came from that state.
